Sunova Carver 5'6 x 20 - 75.8L
The Sunova CARVER is the newest addition to the casey foil range.
It is a design that has evolved with the sport of Downwind Foiling x Winging. Many of our customers were winging on their Aviator Downwind boards and enjoying the effortless glide and usability of the longer narrower boards.
Enter the Carver, this board fits nicely into the range, with sizes starting 4” shorter than the new Aviator Downwind. Designed as a Midlength light wind wing board that is built to carve effortlessly, and be so efficient you’ll be able to get on foil in just about any conditions. If you are an advanced winger, don’t let the name fool you, these boards are still built to boost huge airs.
If you’re looking for a one-board quiver, for effortless glides this is the one for you!

The Sunova CARVER at 5'6" represents what happens when a manufacturer actually listens to the multi-discipline foiling community rather than simply shrinking a SUP foilboard or stretching a wing board. Customer perspectives across multiple seasons and thousands of sessions reveal a board that delivers on its versatility promise without the "jack of all trades, master of none" compromises that plague many crossover designs.
For the growing segment of foilers who want to maximize their time on water rather than their equipment collection, the CARVER offers a compelling solution: genuine multi-discipline capability backed by durable construction and thoughtful design details that reveal themselves over extended use.
Is it the absolute best pure wave board? No. The ultimate downwind racer? No. The lightest, trickiest freestyle wing board? No. But if you want 90% of each in a single, well-built package that you'll actually ride regularly across varied conditions and disciplines, customer experience suggests the CARVER delivers on that promise better than most alternatives in today's market.
OUTLINE
The outline of this board is quite parallel, with a narrower nose and a wider diamond tail. This helps the board to cut through the water and get onto the foil very easily.
RAILS
The entire board has a defined chine all the way along from nose to tail, from the front foot back, the edges are super hard which helps release water and get you flying.
ROCKER
The entry rocker is sufficient for jumping and getting up, the tail rocker is super flat right out the back to help with planning early.
BOTTOM
Subtle v to flat, again more features to get you up and going.
DECK
Concave, with a number of different foot strap options.
GENERAL GOAL | THEME OF THE BOARD:
An efficient wing board that will work well in light conditions right the way through to heavy conditions. Designed to be super efficient and get on foil with ease.
CONDITIONS IT'S WORKING BEST:
