Learn to E foil - Efoil Intro Experience
A prerequisite of SUP paddling or surfing to a Good standard is required to get the most out of this experience. E-foiling requires dedicated focus, flexibility and excellent balance , if you have any lower limb injury from the past this is not for you.There is lots to learn even if you are an experienced surfer or Waterman. Starting with kneeling on the board we eventually transition to get you standing by the end of the session and hovering above the surface !
Do I need to be an Athlete to do this ?You need to be fit and confident in your swimming ability.You will be required to swim a fair amount during the session as when you fall off you will need to swim back to the board , you should be able to cover multiple distances of 2-10 metres if required to . You will be wearing a wetsuit and floatation vest.
What is included:
- Wetsuit
- Helmet
- Buoyancy aid
This 90 minute Private 1-2-1 course includes introduction to the Electric Hydrofoil board from Takuma, set up and up to one hour of riding (one battery life) You will be guided by our instructors into Swansea Bay riding your own efoil -The instructor may be on a SUP board or follow on a safety boat.
Can others join ? - The session is per person (although it can be shared with one other for £75 additional) wetsuit & PPE hire is included for this person. This additional person is then seated on the boat and we follow the first participant in the boat until we swap over .
Can I buy a Efoil ? - Yes we have direct access to the unit in our store
Operated by Cor watersports ltd. Our instructors are the most technically and safety minded for Hydro foiling and have seats in the technical panels of the most prestigious teaching organisations such as British Canoeing.
Location - Mumbles - Swansea - SA34EN (Parking in Knab rock carpark by Verdis Cafe)
Pay & display parking is available on site
Max weight requirement of 105kg. ( this is due to the power output of the units we use )

The E- foil propulsion units have multiple propellors which are shrouded by a guard - participants must accept that e-foiling is a extreme sport and does have risks .
These risks may include lacerations , cuts and possible loss of body parts when falling from the board- you must understand these risks in booking
E foiling - Under 18’s will only be permitted if they have obtained a PWB level 2 certificate which we will require before we start
We cannot rent the units without instruction - this voids our insurance
