The volume is well centred for maximum stability when paddling and taking off.
The beveled tail allows for faster takeoff.The short nose reduces inertia, and increases the pumping angle.
The raised rails allow you to take a maximum angle in the turns without touching.
They also facilitate pumping at start-up.
