Foil Drive Assist is just that, it provides paddle assistance to the rider. It is not a flat water e-foil. The primary objective is a light weight, minimalistic, low drag design that is as least obtrusive to the amazing feeling of foiling.
whole unit weighs 3kg | 21kg thrust | 10 min Install | 1-2hr Surf Time* depending on throttle usage
Wireless throttle control can be handheld or mounted to SUP paddle or wind handle or boom.These universal mounts easily install to your paddle and can be altered for both goofy and natural footed riders, simply switch the position of the removable wedge using your 2.5mm driver.Single tool installation with no modification to your existing gearRemovable in less than 5 mins to use your gear for other disciplines

- Wing ding riders are using their Foil Drive Assist on low wind days where there isn't enough power in the wing to get their board out of the water but there is enough to keep on foil. Using the controller on the included wrist lanyard, use full power to get up on foil, then wing ding as usual.
- Down wind riders are loving motoring/paddling that bit further offshore to line up longer runs! With added thrust you can run smaller, faster wings and link sections, resulting in longer rides. If the conditions change, you’ve also got the added of peace of mind knowing you don't have to manually paddle all the way back to shore.Foil Drive Assist is not designed to be used on a Prone or Tow style, low volume Foil Boards. Due to the wireless connection, the box must remain above the waterline during usage Therefore SUP and Wing Boards are much better suited.
The difference between the Assist and Assist plus is mainly battery power and longevity - The assist plus has a larger battery - the assist plus also has Alloy propellor blades.The assist still has its place ..its still powerful enough for short bursts of power to get you into waves or running DW swell and can be foil drived (efoiled ) if the rider is lightweight (under 80kg ) and a experienced foiler.
If the rider is over 80kg it still has its place if you are wanting a assist product for downwind or situations where having a backup in your explorations is important.
